After evolving twice he’s gotten more courage and now he enjoys staying out of the ball next to his trainer. Meaning of the name: Named after Shiraishi’s best friend Kenya. Luxray is one of the closest Pokémon to Shiraishi and has a star on his tail (Naniwa no Speed Star).

Every time any other Pokémon was too close with him she would get really annoyed. Needless to say she’s very attached to Shiraishi and often seeks his attention. After evolving into Umbreon she calmed down a little, but she’s still really affectionate. Meaning of the name: Yuzuki - 優 (yu) "gentleness, superiority" and 月 (zuki) "moon".

Ever since he hatched he’s been showing of his skills and challenging Pokémon stronger than him. This attitude has only grown worse after his evolution, but thankfully he obeys Shiraishi without questioning it. She stole his Pokégear and ran off. After chasing her down he caught her as part of the team. Chikorita is rather proud and hates losing above anything else. She’s also determined not to evolve because she wants to prove her worth as who she is. Meaning of the name: Saki - 咲 (sa) "blossom" and 希 (ki) "hope".
