[It's a late night and Shiraishi can't sleep. Really, he's tried all the ways he can think of... but his mind is going back to think about things he's learned at the place. About, well, his 'future self' being here... and him being friends with all sort of people. He had told himself not to think about it since it just gave him a headache and it really had nothing to do with him being there right now. Yet here he was thinking... well over-thinking about it.

He was slightly curious about what kind of a person he was in the future, but he knew it was better if he didn't ask. He was also curious about what sort of people he knew. That wouldn't be too bad of a question. Perhaps he'd be able to befriend them as well if he wasn't too different in their opinion.

... really, he was over-thinking. He couldn't change that much in such little time.

Well, he can't sleep so he might as well ask about some things, right? He isn't in the mood for making videos or audio posts so he'll send out a text for now.]

I know this might sound silly, but... how many of you knew me, well the slightly older version of me, when he was around? Shiraishi Kuranosuke that is. I'm not trying to find out what I'll turn out to be in the future or anything, but I'm just... curious about what kind of people I know he knew.

Though if I was a bad person for some reason, please tell me that. There's a chance I can redeem myself and change, after all. It wouldn't be a bad change in the future in my opinion, I think.

Oh and one more question... Do breeders collect badges too or is that just a trainer thing?

That's a relief to hear. I don't think I'll change too much, but you never know so I had to ask.

Unless, of course, the change is positive. Personally I think I'm emotionally much stronger than I was back then.

Positive change is always a good thing which is why I wouldn't want to hear too much about it so I won't accidentally change that. [Though it's not even possible is it? The future is already set for him to change to a certain path.]

Did something big happen to make you stronger?

Well, you may not remember anything about Johto when you go back home, but it would be weird to know too much, right? ... A lot.

It never hurts to be a little careful... though yeah, it would be weird, too. Nothing too bad, I hope?

Well, good. And as long as you pulled through it and even felt like you grew emotionally it's an important time in your life. Well, everything is important, no matter how small.

So, you really don't need to collect the badges if you don't want to.

Either works in my opinion. Oh. Well, technically the trainers don't really need to collect them either, right? It's just a challenge.

Heh, true. But they actually need everything that they get with the badge. Breeders only need to borrow that stuff from them... Or from anyone else who has the stuff what they need. That didn't make any sense, huh? So, there are moves called HM Moves like Fly to fly and Surf to surf. Wow, at least something makes sense here. You get the HM discs from some of the gyms, and then your pokemon get the ability to 'can use fly/surf/etc outside of battle' from different gyms. You don't need the badges when you're a breeder, you can just borrow the HM disc from a trainer. ...But I'm going to get those badges anyway, just because borrowing it from others forever and for always would be weird. And it's a nice challenge.

[And if Johto ever accidentally throws her into Mahogany again, she can just fly away from that town right after it.

...Did she even explain those things correctly? Yeah. Hopefully. At least she wouldn't lie on purpose, today's just... And she's been away from Johto for months, she could be wrong too. Hmmmm. Sigh.]
