[It's a late night and Shiraishi can't sleep. Really, he's tried all the ways he can think of... but his mind is going back to think about things he's learned at the place. About, well, his 'future self' being here... and him being friends with all sort of people. He had told himself not to think about it since it just gave him a headache and it really had nothing to do with him being there right now. Yet here he was thinking... well over-thinking about it.

He was slightly curious about what kind of a person he was in the future, but he knew it was better if he didn't ask. He was also curious about what sort of people he knew. That wouldn't be too bad of a question. Perhaps he'd be able to befriend them as well if he wasn't too different in their opinion.

... really, he was over-thinking. He couldn't change that much in such little time.

Well, he can't sleep so he might as well ask about some things, right? He isn't in the mood for making videos or audio posts so he'll send out a text for now.]

I know this might sound silly, but... how many of you knew me, well the slightly older version of me, when he was around? Shiraishi Kuranosuke that is. I'm not trying to find out what I'll turn out to be in the future or anything, but I'm just... curious about what kind of people I know he knew.

[He hesitate a while before adding.]

Though if I was a bad person for some reason, please tell me that. There's a chance I can redeem myself and change, after all. It wouldn't be a bad change in the future in my opinion, I think.

Oh and one more question... Do breeders collect badges too or is that just a trainer thing?

Well if you never learn about it, then that means it can't be that important. Right?

Nice to meet you. I'm sure you'll like it here, it's pretty nice when the trash pokemon aren't making everything super smelly.

That's true. There are trash Pokémon?

Well, they were poison type, but some of them certainly looked like bags of trash. It was really weird.

I guess Pokémon can look like almost anything.

It certainly seems that way sometimes. Have you seen a ditto yet?

A Ditto? I've heard someone start with one, but I haven't seen one yet.

It's basically this purple blob looking pokemon that can transform so that it looks like anything else - other pokemon, objects, trainers, you name it.

Oh. That's a pretty unique sounding Pokémon. [Just... don't get one Shiraishi. We don't want any accidental eggs.]

It's also able to breed with any pokemon. So it's actually pretty useful to have around. [Don't worry, consider this a warning.]

... Well, that kinda makes sense if it can turn into anything.

That's what I thought too. Once I got over how weird it sounded.

Well, Pokémon having eggs is weird anyway... but yeah, that's even weirder.

You think it's weird too? I was beginning to think I was the only one.

Well yeah. It's normal for birds and those who normally lay eggs to be born from them, but mammals and plants... it's just not natural.

It is pretty weird at first, but I think you get used to it after a while.

Probably, yeah. Everything needs time to get used to after all.

And time definitely seems like something most of us will have.

Have you been here for a long time?

Not really, only a couple of months so far. I've talked to people who've been here at least a year though.

Yeah... I've heard some being here for two. It's hard to imagine being here that long.

I think it's one of those things you can't imagine until it happens to you.

Though I guess then it doesn't count as imagining anymore.

Mmh. And I think it's not something you're supposed to think about too much either. It happens when it happens. And probably without us even noticing.

Of course. That way it can be a surprise, so we can be all "Oh! I didn't realize it's been so long! Wow!" and stuff.
