[Accidental Video]

[Here's a really dark forest-y feed for your viewing pleasure. It's Ilex Forest so of course it's dark and it's night so that doesn't make it any better. There's a view of a guy dressed in green-yellow shirt, walking around... looking pretty lost, even if he has a map on his hands.]

This map doesn't show me anything right... [The feed goes on as he walks and walks. It seems like someone is following him with the gear.]

Really... if I wasn't sure this was the right map I'd say this is-- [He looks at the label, now.] ... oh. Well, good thing I'm pretty sure this is the right way... right Vulpix?

[Theres's a really, really unsure "Vul" coming from the Pokémon.]

... wait. Isn't that the landmark I put around an hour ago? Don't tell me we've traveled in a circle. [A long sigh. The Vulpix nudges his owner.] Yeah, I know... I should ask for help. Now where's my gear...?

[He looks around his backpack. Nope. Not there. Vulpix nudges his trainer again and that's when Shiraishi looks straight at the gear.]

Hey...!

[Wild Chikorita ran away with the gear (because it got scared) and Shiraishi after them. In the middle of the chase the feed is cut off.]

[And the feed opens to an exhausted Shiraishi once he gets his gear back. He's been running after it for... who knows how long. And gotten even more lost.]

I... think I'm in a pinch here. I've been looking for the exit at Ilex Forest to Azalea Town for hours. I just got here for a evening stroll and then couldn't find a way out.

[His Vulpix is curled up next to him, sleeping.] And I have the wrong map, too... so I have no idea where to go.

So uh... what should I do?

The way to Azalea is, like, southwest. Keep following the paths south and west and you should get there, right?

[Well, that's certainly useful information.]

It would help if I knew which way was south and which west... [Or would be useful.] Gears don't happen to have compasses, right?

Dude, you're, like, hopeless. [ Exasperated. ] Use the sun, bro. You know what time it is, right?

Well, yeah, the Gear shows the time... last time I checked it's pretty late so I don't think there'd by sun up.

So put up a tent and chill out until morning! When the sun comes up, you'll know which way's which.

... You do have a tent, right?

[Now this will be really awkward.]

Most of my things are back at Azalea Town?

[ Dead silence. ]

... Okay, dude. What do you have with you?

Some healing items, just in case, bandages and a water bottle. And six of my Pokémon.

Which Pokémon?

Budew, Vulpix, Sandile, Shinx, Solosis and Eevee.

Okay. It's s'posed to rain, so find a big tree to hide under, or build yourself, like, a shelter with some branches. Keep at least your Vulpix and your highest-level Pokémon out while you're sleeping. Set your 'Gear to wake you up every hour or two so you can check up on them or whatever.

[ She pauses, considering. ] Build a little fire now while it's not raining, and try to collect some wood and put it someplace where it's not gonna get totally soaked. Like, under your coat, if you have one.

Once the sun starts coming up, you can find your way back. Probably.

[... he chose the best day to get lost, didn't he?

He carefully listens to all advice, not really even thinking he's getting advice from someone much younger than him which might be embarrassing in some opinions... Miyuki's been here a while, of course she knows how this works.]

Right. I think I can do this. And tomorrow I'll get back to Azalea Town safely.
