[Suddenly! A giant sized pink mermaid pokes her head above the water. She looks around uncertainly, then, upon hearing someone's desperate pleas for help, swims quickly over to the Gyarados, arms outstretched.]

Oh, oh no! You shouldn't do that! Please stop! You'll hurt your rider!

[ooc note: Mermaids in Shirahoshi's canon can speak to fish, whales, sharks, etc. So let's have a bit of fun with this, eh?]

[At first Shiraishi doesn't even notice anyone there... but when the Gyarados halts for some reason he looks down. Huh? What's that?

It seems that the Gyarados is trying to explain that his peace has been interrupted so he has a right to be mad.]

[Shirahoshi reaches her hand out to the Gyarados. She'll stroke its nose in a calming manner if it wants her to.]

I know how upsetting it can be to meet a human for the first time, I really do. But humans can be really nice and we need to learn to live together, so that everyone can enjoy the sun.

[The Gyarados does enjoy the strokes... and acts very calmly now. Good job Shirahoshi, it seems you've calmed it down. Though it swears that if the human appears there again it'll toss him to Blackthorne :| ]

[Shiraishi's rather speechles right now. And waiting quietly until he's let down.]

[All the help is surely appreciated once this is all over. Right now he's... really getting into that lake it seems. Looks like tennis players aren't too strong to keep on holding to a dragon.

And the Gyarados will disappear after getting the extra rider off its back. Good riddance that human.]
